Jurgen Gude has been making television documentaries since the eighties. Starting as a cameraman in Holland, he soon became more interested in telling stories, which led to work as a director for National Dutch television, VARA and VPRO (see earlier films: National Dutch TV archive)

In 1995 he decided to leave behind the incessant demands and pressures of a staff TV director. Seeking to simplify his life, he moved to southern France where he now lives with his wife and two children. Once there he established himself as a freelance director, editing his own films in his custom made edit suite, situated in beautiful nature near his home.

Timeless Films seeks to combine a story-telling sensibility inspired by naturalness and simplicity, with the skills of an experienced contemporary television maker, to produce a unique blend of uplifting, intimate films.
